The tools and the records

The tools and the college records are free to use, read and print, including for work you are paid for. You may not extract the records in bulk, republish them, or scrape the site to build a competing dataset. You may not attempt to reach another user's data or to interfere with the service. Everything on the site remains ours; nothing here grants you a license to it beyond your own use.

Everything here is information, not advice about your situation. Figures come from public federal reporting and from colleges' own published pages, and a college may change its own numbers at any time. Verify anything a decision turns on with the college. Not affiliated with any college, university, or ranking publisher. No college has reviewed, approved or sponsored this site.

Accounts

An account is optional. You are responsible for activity under yours. You may close it from your account page, which deletes it and everything saved against it. We may suspend or close an account for breach of these terms.

The season

The season is a single charge covering one year of the paid features. It is not a subscription and does not renew. The amount, and any refund period offered on it, are shown at checkout before you pay and are the terms of that purchase. At the end of the one year the paid features stop; your saved work remains and the free version continues to work.

Payment is processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never reach this site. Except as stated at checkout or required by law, purchases are non-refundable. A refund ends the paid features; your saved work remains. Raising a card dispute without contacting us first may result in the account being closed.

Advisory

One-to-one consulting is provided under a separate written agreement signed before any payment, which governs its scope, schedule, fees and cancellation. These terms do not apply to it. We make no admission-outcome claims and no guarantees. Any consultant who guarantees an admission is telling you something they cannot know.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, free or paid, at any time.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost opportunity, including any admission or financial-aid outcome. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and is zero where nothing was paid. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the service or breach of these terms.

Disputes

Any claim must be brought within one year of the events it rests on, individually and not as a class action or representative proceeding, and belongs exclusively in the courts serving the provider's principal place of business, whose law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. You consent to that venue and waive any objection to it.

Changes

A revised version is dated on this page and takes effect when posted. Continuing to use the site after that is acceptance. Changes do not affect a one year already purchased.

These terms, with the checkout terms of any purchase, are the whole agreement between us on the subject. If a clause is unenforceable the rest stands. We may assign them; you may not. A right we do not enforce is not waived.
